ABSTRACT
In this case report we discuss a patient with dextrocardia originally assigned to pacemaker replacement procedure, which must have been postponed due to VF during preparation for the procedure. The patient was later qualified to implantable cardioverter-deffibrillator. IDC with atrial sensing (ICD-DX) was chosen as the patient did not agree to the removal of the old lead. We discuss a decision-making process and challanges of cardiac pacing devices' implantation in patients with dextrocardia.
